Knowledge Sharing Session with Research Students
The PGIHS organized a knowledge sharing session on “The Art of Doing a PhD Thesis: Anecdotes from a Social Science Researcher” for the benefit of the current MPhil and PhD students of the Institutes and prospective students, on 13 February 2016 at the PGIHS. The session aimed to broaden the intellectual horizons of prospective research students, reinforce their reflective learning, and inspire them to produce MPhil/PhD theses claiming significant academic merit. Dr. Saman Dassanayake, Associate Professor in Department of Human Resource Management, Faculty of Cognitive Sciences and Human Development, Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS) conducted the KSS which attended 35-40 invited students and academic staff members of the faculties of Arts and Management. The event was coordinated by Dr. Athula Ekanayake of the Faculty of Management.
